OUR CHARTER MEMBERS
On November 13, 1976, under the leadership and guidance of the Iota Gamma Chapter of Rust College, the light of Tau Eta Chapter was ignited at the University of Mississippi.
Charted by six visionary and dedicated women, the chapter was established to fulfill a need on campus for an organization rooted in the principles of Scholarship, Service, Sisterly Love, and Finer Womanhood. Their commitment laid the foundation for a legacy that continues to thrive today.
These remarkable women charted Tau Eta and set the standard for excellence and sisterhood that has guided generations of Tau Eta members.:
